PolyMon SQL Server 2000?

I have an existing application that is already working on SQL Server 2000. Ideally the PolyMon executive will reside on the same machine. In the environment where it's installed there are strict policies in place that don't allow me to install another version of SQL server (e.g. 2005).

Supposing that I want to modify PolyMon 1.0.0 to work with SQL Server 2000, how much work would that be? Has anyone already done so? Are there some major issues that I should be aware of before doing this?

Thanks,

Hi Dave,

It is theoretically possible to use SQL 2000 - the installation scripts (T-SQL) would have to be modified to make them syntactically compatible with SQL 2000 - but there is nothing leveraging SQL 2005 specific features.
One user has noted an issue with SQL 2000 and the OpenXML functionality that is flaky, so ymmv. If you are interested please send me an email and I will send you the T-SQL scripts to create the database schema and procedures/functions.

Thanks,
Fred.
